KUBIKMILK is an alias for Bucharest-based producer Adrian Budritan, who explores varied processes to create kinetic sequences, patterns with probabilistic accents. Matching analogue modular synthesis with experimentation in live settings of pedal effects. The album dives deeper into fractured rhythms and rich modulated sounds, exploring the space between introspective headphones listener and hypnotic beats, submerged atmospheres and pointillist percussive elements.

Music-Video: Last Dictator Speech (Russian Invasion of Ukraine) – KUBIKMILK

In the context of war, started by Russian invasion of Ukraine in 24 Feb 2022, I was inspired by the final speech of Charlie Chaplin from the movie The Great Dictator. Chaplin’s climactic monologue has frequently been listed by critics, historians and film buffs as perhaps the greatest monologue in film history, and possibly the most poignant recorded speech of the 20th century. The Great Dictator is a 1940 American satirical comedy-drama film written, directed, produced, scored by, and starring British comedian Charlie Chaplin, following the tradition of many of his other films. Having been the only Hollywood filmmaker to continue to make silent films well into the period of sound films, Chaplin made this his first true sound film.

AI MACHINES – “building the machine that builds the machine” Elon Musk frequently speaks about “building the machine that builds the machine,” where the factory first becomes a product in their overall process. In a manufacturing facility, this means investing in resources to increase the velocity of production and the density of manufacturable goods to increase output.
